Staebler Insurance is proud to offer a 25% car insurance discount for young drivers with the new CAA Head Start Discount in Ontario.

We understand that being a young driver can be tough. Car insurance pricing in Kitchener, Waterloo Region, and throughout Ontario are often the highest for young drivers and without driving experience to prove good habits, they’re not going to see a break from insurance companies.

At Staebler, we have been a proud partner with CAA for many years and are excited to offer this new program which helps young drivers gain valuable driving experience at the same time as saving on their insurance premium.

There are a few requirements for young drivers (24 years and younger) to qualify for the CAA Head Start Discount, including:

  • A parent or legal guardian of the young driver must hold an automobile policy with CAA Insurance in good standing and with a driving record of 9* or better
  • The young driver must live in the same household as the insured parent/legal guardian
  • The young driver has no at-fault accidents or ratable lapses in coverage

Once the driver turns 25, the discount continues at 15% until they reach a driving record of 9*
