With the holidays just a couple of weeks away, Staebler Insurance’s Charity & Community Involvement Committee donated more than $5,000 in gifts to the Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain.

The Committee’s focus was on presents for older children in need, an often-forgotten group for donations.

Last week, a team of “Staebler Elves” appeared on CTV Kitchener’s News at Six and delivered new, unwrapped toys, clothing, and gift cards to Toy Mountain. They shared what it means to make these donations to help ensure that every child in need has something special to open this holiday season.

Toy Mountain continues for the next two weeks with the Salvation Army collecting new, unwrapped toys.  The Toy Mountain drive officially ends on Friday, December 22.
